Egg-form vase with 2 openings. Wood-fired in Oregon at Pleasant Hill Pottery. Approx. 5.5" (W) x 10" (H).

I threw this egg shape and then cut out 2 holes to allow it to function as a vase. It was loaded into the wood kiln laying on its side, and the detail view shows ash glaze runs flowing laterally around the body of the vase. Has applied shino glaze and natural ash glaze in varied colors on the exterior.
