I am a member of the Skyline Artisans, a coming together of community artisans in my neighborhood on Skyline Ridge in NW Portland. We will be holding our annual Holiday Festival show in late Nov. 2015 and I look forward to having a booth with pottery from the wood and gas kilns. (Find us on Facebook under Skyline Artisans Guild.)

PLACE:
Skyline Grange #894,  11275 NW Skyline Blvd, Portland, OR 97231

I will be holding a Winter 2015 studio this coming December in Portland. More details on this will follow soon as those plans become set.

The Skyline Kiln, wood-fire kiln at Pincus Pottery Studio, was last fired in May 2015, marking our 26th firing, and the next firing is planned for the end of Oct 2015. We continue to get a fairly good success rate out of the kiln, including very nice coloring on the porcelain cups and bowls, though truly outstanding pieces are rare to emerge. For the Oct. firing, I hope to include more of the ovoid shallow and deep bowls that I have been making recently.
